We’ll be introducing you to a range of blues idiom dances and styles of blues music, like Slow Drag, Ballroomin’ basics as well as the much-loved swoopy moves like turns and pivots, Jukin’ (partnered and solo), Chicago Triple, dancing to Latin Rhythm blues, and even how the heck to dance to Piedmont blues. We’ll guide our exploration where the group and interest points us 🙂

This week's class will focus on the oft-underrated Lindy Hop sugar push. We'll explore how to achieve that smooth, springy sugar push compression as well as how to vary and  the movements shape and rhythm. This is an all levels class!
